2010-07-22 - Numerous clients have reported that the Survey Point Database functionality in Civil 3D 2011 has become disabled, returning errors related to incompatible versions of the Microsoft SQL Server Compact database drivers (ADO.NET) required on 64-bit installs. This error can be resolved by loading the Microsoft SQL Server Compact 3.5 Service Pack 2 for Windows Desktop, available for download here. Be sure to install both the 32-bit and 64-bit versions of the SQL Server Compact 3.5 SP2 MSI files to overcome the file incompatibilities.

2010-07-20 - Autodesk has announced the availability of a series of hotfixes and updates for Civil 3D 2011, 2010 and 2009. These include Missing Language Pack and Performance Hotfixes for 2011 and 2009, a Raster Design Crash-On-Exit Hotfix for 2011 and Update 3 for 2010. 2010-06-01 - Autodesk has announced the availability of the 2011 Raster Design Object Enabler, which allows the display of a variety of image types placed by Raster Design in AutoCAD programs without Raster Design present.
