2009-03-27 - AutoCAD 2010 and AutoCAD Map 2010 have both shipped. And the first Hotfix for them is also already out... Can Civil 3D be far behind?
2009-03-17 - The Autodesk Civil 3D Update 2.1, Land Companion Update 2.1, Civil Update 2.1 and Land Desktop Update 2.1 are as stable as they are going to be and ready for installation. Downloads
can be found through the Links page. The Land updates cannot be installed if the briefly released Update 2 was installed previously; the entire product must be uninstalled and reinstalled. There are issues
in the Civil 3D installation releated to registry errors in some instances, but it appears no fix is forthcoming. If registry errors arrise in the Civil 3D install, it too must be uninstalled and reinstalled.
The same registry errors appear to make eventual uninstallation extremely difficult. The Land Companion Updates have been moved to the bottom of the Civil 3D and Civil updates page, making them hard to find.
2009-03-17 - The Civil 3D Bonus Pack 2 installation seems to have stabilized and is ready for installation. The initial release
of the Bonus Pack included an incorrect driver file, rendering it useless. The Bonus Pack should be downloaded again to insure that the correct file is included. Bonus Pack 2 must be downloaded from the Autodesk Subscription site. Clients experiencing failure
based on the faulty initial installation can contact us at the email address below and the errant file can be supplied.
