AutoCAD Civil 3D Advanced Grading Applications - 2 Days typical

This course examines the application of the Civil 3D site grading tools to different project types based on preferences of the participants, including residential, commercial and landfill projects. The objective of this course is to develop a satisfactory workflow through Civil 3D grading, producing desirable results with a minimum of effort or disruption to normal grading and design process.

Autodesk River Analysis - 2 Days typical

This training course will explain how to use the Autodesk River Analysis software, and will concentrate on demonstrating how to apply the software to everyday engineering projects. Tips and tricks on increasing overall proficiency and productivity are provided throughout the training. Upon completion of this course, participants will have a comprehensive knowledge of the Autodesk River Analysis software and will be able to create, maintain, run, and analyze HEC-RAS river hydraulic models with complete confidence.

Classes for Map 3D, Map and Raster Design:

AutoCAD Map 3D Essentials - 2 Days

This course explores the capabilities of AutoCAD Map, either as a component of AutoCAD Civil 3D or as the separate product, AutoCAD Map 3D. The class serves as an introduction to Map for those interested in its use as a complete GIS toolset, those using Map in conjunction with Esri products for GIS applications, or those in the Civil Engineering, Surveying and Land Planning industries who wish to explore the Map capabilities in their AutoCAD products.

AutoCAD Map 3D Intermediate - 2 Days

This class continues the examination of the features in AutoCAD Map 3D, with additional emphasis on their applications in GIS. Much of the material covered in this class is common to both Map 3D and the map component of Civil 3D; the exception is certain survey and coordinate geometry tools that differ between the two programs. Owners of either Map 3D or Civil 3D will benefit from this course, and direction for operators of either program will be provided.

Autodesk Storm and Sanitary Analysis - 2 Days typical

This training course will explain how to use the Autodesk SSA software that comes with AutoCAD Civil 3D and AutoCAD Map 3D, and will concentrate on demonstrating how to apply the software to everyday stormwater and sanitary sewer projects. Tips and tricks on increasing overall proficiency and productivity are provided throughout the training. Upon completion of this course, participants will have a comprehensive knowledge of the Autodesk SSA software and will be able to create, maintain, run, and analyze stormwater and wastewater models with complete confidence.

Raster Design in AEC Applications - 1 Day

The class then explores the watershed modeling and pond design sections of the program and progresses through predevelopment drainage assessment, establishment and examination of proposed site conditions, proposed drainage assessment and pond sizing, and determination of design system suitability.

Lecture-Style Courses (Not Hands-On)

Civil 3D Short Courses:

Civil 3D Short Courses serve as an effective introduction to AutoCAD Civil 3D in short, easy to assimilate, two-to-three hour sessions.

Each Civil 3D Short Course focuses on a particular task within Civil 3D, from navigating the interface, creating and managing Surface, Point, Alignment and other data, through Project Management and on to more advanced topics, such as Creating Corridors and Site Grading.

Introduction to AutoCAD Civil 3D - Core Concepts

This class provides an introduction to the concepts that underlie AutoCAD Civil 3D and a roadmap to navigating its interface. The class explores the new interface settings in AutoCAD, the interface components unique to Civil 3D, and the basic concepts underlying the civil program: Data Management through drawing data, Civil Object and Label Styles, and Civil Projects.
